ADMINISTRATIVE DESCRIPTION:  Regional independent living center offers resources, support services, and advocacy for people with disabilities. The center serves a cross-disability population including people with physical, cognitive, mental health, visual, and hearing disabilities as well as people with multiple disabilities and people living with HIV/AIDS. Services are available to people of all ages.

SITE HOURS:  M-F: 8:30am-4:30pm

Transitional Housing Opportunities
TRANSITIONAL RENTAL SUBSIDIES FOR PERSONS WITH HIV/AIDS
Offers 18 month rental subsidies for ten individuals/families living with HIV/AIDS. Provides Housing search assistance and advocacy; limited financial assistance for setting up household.

FEE:  No fee

ELIGIBILITY:  Persons with HIV/AIDS who are at risk of becoming homeless or presently homeless in Waterbury and the upper Naugatuck Valley; Income can not exceed 80% of the family median income for Waterbury
